Web Design forHartland Contractors
The $2,500 implementation is built during the 14-day trial and waived through Oct 21. Your domain, your accounts, your site.
- For roofers, HVAC, plumbers, electricians, remodelers, and landscapers working Hartland, Merton, North Lake, Chenequa, and the Highway 83 corridor.
- Hartland has 4,347 housing units, 71.8% of them built before 2000. Zillow put the typical home at $676,884 in June 2026, up 8.2% in a year, the fastest rise of any town on my list.
- Site, Google Business Profile, listings, and lead forms built during the trial. $97 a month after, month to month, you own everything.
- 10 minutes from my desk in Delafield, up Highway 83. I'll meet you at your shop.
- Who shows up first when a neighbor searches for what you do.Google's answer and the AI answer, with names. Whether one of them is you.
- Where you lose them.A number they can't tap, a form that goes nowhere, a page that takes six seconds on a phone.
- What to fix first. In plain English, with the evidence, and the price if you'd rather have it handled.
Built for the trades along Highway 83.
Hartland is a village of about 9,972 people that behaves like a much bigger market, because everything north of it (Merton, North Lake, Chenequa, Stone Bank, the Monches side) drives through it and searches with its name. The old village center along the Bark River is 1890s to 1950s housing: knob-and-tube rewires, cast iron drains, small kitchens people finally gut. The subdivisions east toward Pewaukee and north along Highway 83 are 1980s and 1990s stock hitting second roofs and second furnaces right now.
The median Hartland house was built in 1983. The ACS median value is $393,100, and Zillow's June 2026 index is $676,884, which tells you what the homeowners searching here can spend and how much they care about doing it right. They read the site before they call. A site with a page per service, real photos, and a phone number they can't miss gets the call over one that says "family owned, licensed and insured" and nothing else.
That's what I build, and the price is published instead of quoted: the $2,500 implementation, built during the 14-day trial and waived through Oct 21, then $97 a month for Run. Grow is $297 with missed-call text-back, review requests, and the monthly Google profile work included. Most Hartland contractors I talk to are paying someone $150 to $400 a month for a site they don't own and can't edit. Ask who holds your domain. If the answer takes a while, that's the answer.
Things you can click. Numbers you can check.
No quotes next to stock photos. Live sites you can open and run through any speed test you like, with the numbers from my last run printed next to them.
- SEWI Claims
Public adjuster, southeast Wisconsin. Site, intake, and payments on their own domain.
Mobile Lighthouse performance 99. Largest content paints in 0.8 seconds. Layout shift 0.
- Oosht
Live-event AV company. Build in progress on a preview domain, not a finished client site. Homepage sequence is drawn as SVG instead of a hero video, so it loads on a phone in a parking lot.
Mobile Lighthouse performance 92. Largest content paints in 1.6 seconds.
- Tanner Preserve AV
My own AV tools site: 146 calculators, a venue directory, and a 3D previz of real ballrooms.
206 indexable routes generated from one data spine. Same engine the contractor sites run on.

Serving Merton, North Lake, Chenequa, Stone Bank, Nashotah, Sussex, Delafield, Oconomowoc, Pewaukee, Lake Country.
The $2,500 implementation, waived. $97 a month to keep it working.
Fixed and published, not invented once someone sees how the truck out front looks. For context, what a contractor website around here actually costs:
A templated build: a theme flipped on Wix or WordPress with your logo dropped in. Profile, listings, and tracking rarely included.
A custom build from a regional agency, one time, with a monthly retainer quoted after the fact for anything ongoing.
Run, mine. A website built for your trade, your Google Business Profile done properly, the listings that matter (Google, Facebook, Apple Maps, Bing), forms that email you the moment a lead lands, and a lead inbox. Missed-call text-back, review requests, and the monthly agent work are on Grow at $297. Built during the trial, on your own domain.
Both plans are itemized on the plans page. You own everything.
Fourteen days of trial. Then the honest part.

Build
I write the copy from what you tell me and you approve it before anything ships. Google Business Profile, listings, and tracking get wired in alongside the site.
Live
Site, profile, listings, analytics, all live on accounts you own. If something I built misses the scope we agreed on, I fix it at no charge.
Rankings move
Map visibility moves in weeks. Organic rankings move in months. Anyone promising page one by a date is guessing.

What I know about searching from Hartland.
Hartland's map pack is decided by the Highway 83 and Capitol Drive intersection. Google draws its "near me" radius from where the searcher stands, and most Hartland searches happen from the village center, Arrowhead's parking lot, or the Sendik's lot. If your Google Business Profile lists a service area that stops at the village line, you're invisible to the North Lake and Merton homeowners who type "Hartland" anyway. Setting the profile's service area to match where you actually work is a ten-minute fix most contractors have never made, and it's part of the build.
The second thing: Hartland homeowners share contractors by word of mouth on the Lake Country parent groups and neighborhood pages, then search your name before they call. If the search turns up a profile with four photos and no website, the referral dies there. The site's job here is to close the referral, not just win the cold search. That means the photos are of your work in this area, the reviews are current, and the phone number is at the top of every page.
Third, the north lakes work is seasonal the same way Oconomowoc's is. Lawn and landscape searches start in late March, roofing spikes after every June hail event, and heating searches turn on the first cold week of October. The pages for each service go up during the trial so they're indexed before the season, not after. You can check the live sites linked on this page and run them through a speed test yourself.
Questions Hartland contractors actually ask.
How much does a contractor website cost in Hartland?
Agencies covering Hartland and Lake Country quote $2,500 to $7,000 for a custom site, one time, then hosting and edits billed separately. Template shops run $500 to $2,000. Mine is the $2,500 implementation, waived through Oct 21, then $97 a month, and that's the same number for everyone.
I work in Merton and North Lake more than Hartland itself. Does this still fit?
Yes. Those homeowners search "Hartland" because it's the town with the stores. The site names your real coverage and your Google Business Profile's service area gets set to match, which is what decides the map results from those addresses.
Do I own the site when we're done?
You own the domain, the hosting login, the content, the Google profile, and the analytics from day one. Leaving is an email. If you only want the site kept up and nothing else, Run at $97 is the floor.
What if I already have a site from another Lake Country web designer?
Keep it if it's fast, you own it, and the monthly buys work you can see. Switch if you can't get a straight answer about who holds the domain, if edits take weeks, or if it scores under 50 on a mobile speed test. Run the free audit first; it tells you which situation you're in without a sales call.
How long until I show up for "electrician Hartland"?
Map visibility usually moves within weeks once the profile and listings are right. Organic rankings move in months. Anyone promising page one by a date is guessing, and I'd rather say so now.
Can we meet in person?
Yes. Hartland is 10 minutes up Highway 83 from my desk. Your shop, a coffee in the village, or a look at a job site, whatever's easiest. Book fifteen minutes or run the audit first.
