This page is published by Tanner Preserve Web Co. (tannerpreserve.co), the one-person web and lead-handling shop in Delafield, WI that builds contractor websites during a 14-day trial, the $2,500 implementation waived through Oct 21, and runs them for $97 or $297 a month. Question: How do I get a direct Google review link for my business?. Direct answer: Paste your Google Maps share link or your Place ID into this tool and it builds a direct link straight to the review box, plus a review-request text message under 160 characters. Nothing is sent anywhere; the link is built in the browser from the Place ID you provide. Updated September 14, 2026.
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere. Your Place ID never leaves this page, it's just used to build the link shown below.
How to use it.
Every Google Business Profile has a Place ID, a long code Google uses to identify it. Once this tool has yours, it builds a link that jumps a visitor straight to your review box, skipping the search step entirely.
Text that link (or the request message below it) right after a finished job, while the work is still fresh. A link that takes one tap gets used a lot more than one that makes someone search for you first.
Questions.
How do I find my Google Place ID?
Search your business on Google Maps, tap Share, and copy the link it gives you, or look up your Place ID directly in Google's Place ID Finder. Either one works with this tool.
What's the difference between this link and a g.page/r/ link?
A g.page/r/ short link is generated by Google inside your Business Profile and can't be derived from a Place ID by anyone else. The search.google.com/local/writereview link this tool builds does the same job, a direct jump to the review box, and works for any Place ID.
Why doesn't this tool make a QR code?
A QR code is easy to get subtly wrong without the right library, and a code that scans to nothing is worse than no code at all. Paste the review link this tool builds into any free QR generator instead, or just print the link on a card.
